About The Worthington Valley Swim Club
What to Expect this Year
- Our Staff
The expectations for our employees are high. We will be returning the best lifeguards from the past years, and adding new staff as well. Our lifeguards will be polite and courteous, and will be primarily responsible for ensuring the safety of our members. If you know of a potential employee, please let them know that the WVSC is a wonderful place to work and now is the time to join our team.
- Our Snack Bar
The snack bar will offer a variety of grilled fare, with some healthy options as well. If you have suggestions for the menu, please let us know.
Facilities
The facility is situated on 24 acres, and has amenities to appeal to every age, including:
Tennis - Ross Coleman is Back!
This season, the WVSC will again be affiliated with "Ross Coleman's Hawk-Eye Tennis"
For those of you who don't know Ross, he is a dynamic tennis pro that can effectively coach anyone from children that are new to the sport, to adult recreational players looking to get an edge, to some of this country's top high school and college prospects.
Parents are encouraged to watch Ross and his instructors connect with their children to create a fun environment that fosters tennis and motor skill improvements.
Ross, along with his hand-picked tennis professionals, will be offering private lessons and clinics. All tennis levels and ages are encouraged to participate.
For information regarding the tennis program, private lessons, or clinics, call 410-356-9348.
Swimming - Swim Lessons
The WVSC will provide high-quality swim lessons this year. As with our lifeguards, the best swim instructors will be returning.
The minimum age is 4 years old. The child must be potty trained and must not have a fear of the water. They must be willing to enter the water willingly on their own (walk down the steps into the shallow end by themselves).
Swim lessons have been scheduled for 2-week sessions consisting of 10 lessons.
The Dates Are:
- June 23 - July 3
- July 7 - July 18
- July 21 - Aug 1
- Aug 4 - Aug 15
Swim lesson registration is Thursday and Friday prior to the start of each session (each session starts on a Monday). The times are Thursday 2-4 & 6-8 and Friday 2-4. No lessons will be taught on July 4. |
